The European project C‑SUSTAIN, committed to training young entrepreneurs in circular economy and sustainable solutions, celebrates two key dates in environmental awareness: World Climate Day on March 26 and Earth Hour on March 28. These occasions provide opportunities to reflect on the impact of our actions and reinforce circular economy education among new generations.
World Climate Day reminds us that climate stability is essential for our daily lives. At C‑SUSTAIN, this date serves as a moment of reflection and learning that drives the achievement of the project’s objectives. Through international Makeathons, courses, and professional guidance, young people are empowered to develop entrepreneurial skills focused on the circular economy and sustainable solutions. The project’s participation in this commemorative date reinforces its commitment to climate action and environmental education, fostering a more resilient and conscious future for all.
On the other hand, the Earth Hour, which this year celebrates its 20th edition, has become the largest global movement for nature and climate. Since its origin in Sydney in 2007, turning off the lights for one hour symbolizes the power of collective action in the face of environmental challenges. At C‑SUSTAIN, we are proud to contribute to this initiative by educating young people, promoting skills in circular economy and sustainable solutions. Earth Hour demonstrates that collective action makes a difference, reinforcing our commitment to continue training new generations to develop projects that positively impact the planet.
