The workshop was organised by the Roscommon leader partnership partner
12/2/2025 – The C-Sustain project held a virtual event on Thursday 6th February 2025 where 50 young people from different countries actively participated in a day of learning and discussion on sustainability, circular economy and multiculturalism. For 1 hour and 30 minutes, attendees explored key issues in youth entrepreneurship and education, strengthening their knowledge and international connections in inclusive spaces for learning, experimentation and collaborative work.
The session began at 4:25 p.m. with the opening of the virtual room and an official welcome by the organising team, partner Roscommon leader partnership from Ireland. This was followed by an icebreaker activity for the participants to encourage interaction and break the ice.
At 4:50 p.m., a detailed presentation on the C-Sustain project took place, explaining its mission and objectives within the Erasmus+ programme. This was followed by three speakers, experts in different areas:
- 5:00 p.m.: Circular Economy Expert – Explained the importance of sustainability and the impact of the circular economy on youth and employment.
- 5:10 p.m.: Story of a Multicultural Youth – A young man shared his personal experience on how multiculturalism has influenced his entrepreneurial journey.
- 5:20 p.m.: Educator/Youth Worker – He presented strategies and methodologies to foster the development of young people in education and work contexts.
One of the most dynamic moments of the event was the use of Mentimeter, allowing real-time participation through surveys and live voting. Afterwards, a satisfaction survey was launched to gather feedback on the session and improve future initiatives.
The event concluded at 6:00 p.m. after a question and answer session, in which attendees were able to share their reflections and learnings.
This event is the first of a series of workshops aimed at young people who are the target audience of the programme. The participation of all partners generates a dynamic of collaboration, participation and outreach in the different countries where the project is carried out.
