Brussels, 31 October 2025. The Finnova Foundation will take part next Tuesday, 4 November, at the Hotel Estelar La Fontana in Bogotá D.C., in the Glocal Pre-Summit on Circular Economy – Nova Next Summit, a pre-event to the Glocal Circular Economy Summit. The conference will bring together representatives from local governments, multilateral organizations, academic institutions, and companies committed to the transition toward a sustainable economic model. Juanma Revuelta, CEO of the Finnova Foundation, will moderate Block 3, entitled “Multilateral Financing for the Circular Economy and Free Trade Zones,” which will take place starting at 4:55 p.m. (Colombian time) at the Hotel Estelar La Fontana in Bogotá D.C.

The panel will bring together experts and representatives of international organizations to discuss mechanisms of cooperation and multilateral financing that foster the circular economy and sustainable development in free trade zones, highlighting the connection between Europe and Latin America. The session will also include spaces dedicated to open innovation, the green transition, and public-private partnerships in the lead-up to COP30. Finnova’s presence at this event reaffirms its commitment to promoting European best practices, advancing sustainable financing programs, and strengthening international cooperation to drive the circular economy on a global scale.

Within this same framework, the Finnova Foundation is promoting the Ibagué Startup Europe Awards (SEUA) 2025, an initiative led by the European Commission and developed in collaboration with Startup Europe. The program aims to identify and reward innovative solutions in water management, waste management, and sustainable construction. Applications will close on Friday, 27 February 2026, and the final award ceremony will take place between 21 and 23 April 2026 during the Glocal Circular Economy Summit – Nova Next Summit in Ibagué. Winning projects will receive personalized mentoring, training on European funding programs, and international visibility — strengthening the connection between Europe and Latin America in innovation and circular economy.
