Brussels, 28 July 2025. The Finnova Foundation will hold a new online training session on Thursday, 31 July, from 16:00 to 18:00 (CEST), entitled Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Social Economy: Marketing for Social Economy Entrepreneurship. This session is part of the Sembrando Iniciativa project, which is aimed at women in vulnerable situations, migrants with university education, and those interested in redirecting their professional path towards entrepreneurship with social impact. The activity is included in the training cycle Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Social Economy, made up of five sessions that provide practical knowledge, guidance, and tools to promote entrepreneurial initiatives with a sustainability and inclusion perspective.

The session will be led by Lola Bordás, an expert in values-based communication and marketing for the social economy, who will share concrete tools to design authentic, sustainable communication strategies aligned with the values of social entrepreneurship. The training will cover key aspects of purpose-driven digital marketing as a driver for self-employment, visibility, and impact in the social and solidarity economy.

This initiative is part of the national project Sembrando Iniciativa, funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through the European Union’s NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) for the Social and Care Economy.

Its goal is to strengthen female entrepreneurship and foster the creation of a more equitable, resilient, and socially committed economic fabric, by highlighting best practices and promoting equal opportunities.

A session to inspire, connect, and transform realities

The event will bring together experts, institutional representatives, and women entrepreneurs with the aim of fostering female leadership, strengthening the social economy, and promoting the active integration of migrant women into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The session, held online, will be led by Lola Bordás, an expert in values-based communication and marketing for the social economy. Throughout the training, key digital marketing tools will be provided to design authentic, sustainable communication strategies aligned with the values of social entrepreneurship.

Topics will include purpose-driven brand building, the use of social media to give visibility to transformative projects, and accessible digital resources to improve positioning and connection with key audiences. The session will also reflect on how coherent and empathetic communication can strengthen self-employment models within the social and solidarity economy framework.

All of this will be approached from a practical, inclusive, and transformative perspective, placing the power of female entrepreneurship at the center as a real driver of change in the social and economic environment.
