FINNOVA attends SIMED 2025, the leading international real estate and residential sector event, with the LIFE RESSKILL project

  • Juanma Revuelta, CEO of Finnova, will participate together with Dirk Paelinck, founder of the European PropTech Association, in a round table on European funding and innovation in the sector.
  • The LIFE RESSKILL project, co-funded by the European Union, will have a stand throughout the three days of the event at FYCMA in Málaga.

Brussels, 7 November 2025 – The Finnova Foundation will take part in theMediterranean Real Estate Exhibition (SIMED 2025), which will take place from 13 to 15 November at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (FYCMA). In this new edition, Finnova will promote discussions on sustainable innovation, digital transformation, and professional reskilling in the building sector, presenting the European project LIFE RESSKILL at the stand P.31.

The LIFE RESSKILL project, co-funded by the European Union’s LIFE programme, aims to train and reskill professionals in the construction and building sector to address the challenges of the clean energy transition. Through knowledge centres and innovative training tools, the project fosters the adoption of renewable energy technologies and the development of digital and green skills among technicians, engineers, architects, and other sector specialists.

As part of SIMED’s official programme, Finnova will participate in the round table “Public support and funding opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship in real estate and construction”, which will take place on Friday, 14 November, from 12:35 to 13:15. Speakers will include Juanma Revuelta, CEO of the Finnova Foundation, and Dirk Paelinck, president and founder of the European PropTech Association, who will discuss European funding opportunities and public-private cooperation mechanisms to accelerate the sustainable transition in the real estate and construction sectors.

SIMED 2025 is consolidating its position as one of the leading real estate events in southern Europe, combining its professional dimension with a space aimed at the end consumer. The fair offers a platform for investment, innovation, and public-private collaboration, fostering networking among institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs committed to sustainability, digitalisation, and access to affordable housing.

The LIFE RESSKILL project runs for three years (December 2024 – November 2027) with a budget exceeding €1.5 million. It is coordinated by the University of Genoa (Italy) and involves a consortium of 10 partners from six European countries: the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and Artemat (Italy); Maynooth University and IKIM (Ireland); the Technical University of Crete and the European Institute of Education and Training (Greece); the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain); Three O’Clock (France); and the Finnova Foundation (Belgium).

With more than fifteen years of experience, the Finnova Foundation is a European non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting innovation, sustainability, and public-private cooperation through the effective use of European funds.
