C-SUSTAIN celebrates February 11 by promoting young female talent in green innovation

Today we celebrate the talent, creativity, and courage of all the women and girls driving scientific knowledge and innovation from an inclusive and transformative perspective. 💡👩‍🔬

Through the European project C-SUSTAIN, co-funded by Erasmus+, we promote education that empowers young women from diverse backgrounds to become leaders of sustainable change—also in STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics).

With training in circular economy, green entrepreneurship, and key European frameworks like GreenComp and EntreComp, C-SUSTAIN connects sustainability with innovation and women’s empowerment.

Because the green transition needs more scientists, creators, entrepreneurs, and educators who are women.

📢 Today and every day, we support women and girls in science!

About C-SUSTAIN:
C-SUSTAIN (Circular & Sustainable Training for Youth Entrepreneurs) is a 24-month European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme with a total budget of €250,000. It aims to equip young people—especially those from multicultural backgrounds—with the skills to lead sustainable entrepreneurship initiatives and support the green and digital transitions.

The project is implemented by a consortium of six organisations from five countries:
BildungsLAB – Hands&Minds Learning Centre (Austria)
CRADLE SINGLE (Greece)
Fundacja Instytut Europejski (Poland)
Förderung der Individualität von Jugend in Europa – EUth (Germany)
Roscommon Integrated Development Company (Ireland)
Finnova Foundation (Spain)

Together, they are building a new generation of youth leaders ready to transform their communities through sustainable innovation and inclusive education.
