Valencia, March 11, 2026 – On Tuesday, March 31st, the European project C-SUSTAIN (Circular & Sustainable Training for Youth Entrepreneurs) will host a hands-on makeathon in Valencia, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the Finnova Foundation Office (Jaume Roig, 19, Valencia).
The event will bring together young entrepreneurs, specialized mentors, and local businesses to work collaboratively on developing innovative solutions based on the circular economy, aiming to promote the creation of sustainable startups and entrepreneurial initiatives with environmental and social impact.
During the session, participants will collaborate in generating ideas and concepts inspired by the principles of the circular economy. The dynamics will foster creativity, teamwork, and practical application of knowledge, using methodologies such as design thinking and solution prototyping.
The makeathon will feature specialized mentors, who will guide teams in identifying challenges and defining strategies to tackle them. Additionally, talks will be given by local companies and sustainability experts, followed by final project presentations and a networking session to encourage connection and collaboration among participants.
This initiative is part of the vision to train the next generation of green entrepreneurs in Europe, promoting a sustainable and circular approach to youth entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, during March, different makeathons will take place across several European countries, reinforcing the transnational dimension of the project and promoting cooperation among young people from different cultural contexts.
