Valencia, November 22, 2024 – The Finnova Foundation leads the I Conference on European Financing for Agri-Food Digitalization and Innovation – HIBA+ Project, which will take place on November 28 within the framework of Expo Agritech 2024, at the FYCMA venue in Malaga. This event will be held at the AGRITECH STARTUP FORUM by ICEX, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:40 p.m., and will bring together leading experts and success stories in European financing applied to the agri-food sector.
The main objective of the conference is to highlight the role of European funds in the digital transformation of the agri-food sector, with the HIBA+ project as an example of success. This cross-border project, co-financed by the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021-2027, is aimed at promoting digitalisation and sustainability through an innovative ecosystem of Digital Innovation Centres (DIHs) in the Iberian Peninsula.
Juanma Revuelta, CEO of Finnova, will moderate and lead the conference, offering a strategic vision on how European funds are promoting agri-food innovation, connecting ecosystems and facilitating access to financing opportunities.
Agenda of the Day
The I Conference on European Financing for Agri-Food Digitalisation and Innovation – HIBA+ Project will begin with an introduction and welcome by Juanma Revuelta, who will moderate the session. It will continue with a keynote speech on European funding and the HIBA+ project, by Juanma Revuelta, who will explain the impact of European funds on agri-food innovation.
Therefore, a practical case of innovation with M2RECORFARM will be presented, by Manuel Rodríguez, who will detail how financing has driven its digitalization. Subsequently, Carlos Ramos from the Fumi-Hogar entity will share a success story on digitalisation and sustainability with the LIFE NextFUMIGREEN project.
The day will conclude with a call to action by Juanma Revuelta, inviting companies and technicians to explore financing opportunities for the agri-food sector.
In addition, Finnova will also be present at another key session of Expo Agritech 2024: “Financing opportunities for the digital transformation of the agri-food sector – HIBA+ Project”, which will be held on November 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Junta de Andalucía Auditorium.
