Finnova strenghtens its commitment to sustainable cities at Greencities 2025

More than 250 presentations featuring industry experts, successfuls projects, and key trends shaping the future.

Valencia, 13 August 2025. Finnova Foundation will take part in the upcoming edition of Greencities 2025, to be held on October first and second at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (FYCMA). Greencities is Spain’s leading meeting point of all stakeholders involved in building smart and suistainable cities.

Around 50 cities will gather at the event to share sustainable solutions. This year’s new feauture, the City Speakers iniciative, will showcase municipal projects and experiences, with Madrid serving as the guest city.

Following the success of the 2024 edition and the Startup Europe Awards (SEUA), an open innovation methodology developed in collaboration with Startup Europe and supported by the European Commission, the Finnova Foundation is ready to continue driving sustainable entrepreneurship, promoting the circular economy, and advancing the fight against climate change in urban environments.

By returning to Málaga, Finnova consolidates its presence in the leading sustainability forums and reaffirms its commitment to a greener, more digital, and more cohesive Europe. The Foundation’s participation in Greencities 2025 will be a key opportunity to strengthen strategic alliances, identify European funding opportunities, and support emerging startups.
