In addition to the financial reimbursement of intellectual property protection services, the call for proposals makes it possible to receive expert support.
Eligible SMEs can receive support services of up to €15,000 for their strategy of valorisation and protection of intellectual property. The deadline for the first call is 7 June.
Intellectual property protection is crucial for promoting innovation and boosting the competitiveness of European SMEs. Therefore, the SMEs selected in this IPA4SME call, which will have to possess the Seal of Excellence awarded by the SME Instrument, will receive the following benefits:
- -A free IP pre-diagnosis, which is a personalised report from a verified IP expert on their IP business strategy.
- -Recommendations for safe and efficient exploitation of your assets.
- -Reimbursement of costs of intellectual property protection: co-financing of eligible costs related to intellectual property protection, including fees for an intellectual property lawyer and patent application costs.
IPA4SME is a COSME action being carried out by a consortium composed of CARSA (Leader and Coordination Centre), the University of Alicante and GOPAcom.

OBJECT
IPA4SME provides financial and specialized support for the valorization and protection of intellectual property (IP) to SMEs that have received a Seal of Excellence from the H2020 SME Instrument program, with a value of up to 15,000 euros.
REQUIREMENTS
Be holder of a Seal of Excellence awarded in the context of the H2020 SME instrument in the three years prior to the closing date of the call.
