The 5G-DiGITs Alliance consortium will meet in Athens on Tuesday 18th   and Wednesday 19th of February 2025

  • Representatives of the 12 5G-DiGITs partners will attend the face-to-face consortium meeting
  • Finnova will present the first version of the project’s communication and dissemination plan

Brussels. 15/01/2025. The 5G-DiGITs consortium partners will hold its first face-to-face meeting in Athens, Greece, on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 of February 2025. The meeting, organised by the project leader Envolve, will bring together representatives of the 12 5G-DiGITs partners. The event will mark the start of the implementation of the project’s actions, activities and events planned to promote European leadership in 5G technology, funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme.

Finnova Foundation, as responsible for the communication and dissemination of 5G-DiGITs, will present during the meeting the first version of the project’s communication plan. In turn, each partner will contribute their knowledge and progress in their respective areas of expertise. The ultimate goal is for all partners to collaborate and contribute their ideas to each work package of the project in order to improve the cohesion and strategy of 5G-DiGITs.

About the 5G-DiGITs project

In addition to the lead entity Envolve Enterpreneurship (Greece), the 5G-DIGITs Alliance consortium brings together INFOLYSIS, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, CNC Solutions (Greece), Accelr8 (Malta), F6S IE (Irland), Finnova (Belgium), Inercia Digital and Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), Karlstads Universitet (Sweden), TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAET CHEMNITZ (Germany) and Techin (Lithuania). This collaborative project will position Europe as a leader in the development and deployment of advanced 5G technology, ensuring a competitive and adaptable workforce to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving landscape. The project lasts 36 months with a total budget of €1,396,335 funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme.
