The RES4CITY project “Renewable energies system for cities” will be present at the Greencities and S-Moving Fair in FYCMA Malaga

19.09.2023 Next Wednesday, September 20th, the event “Innovation in Green Cities through European Funds: RES4CITY”, organized by Finnova, will take place in the Multipurpose Room 7 of FYCMA Malaga. This activity, open to the public, is part of the Greencities and S-Moving Fair and its main objective is to promote the development of renewable energy and fuel technologies in urban environments.

The RES4CITY project, funded by the Horizon Europe program, stands as a crucial initiative to promote sustainability and circularity in the urban environment. With the implementation of an innovative educational program, it seeks to promote the use of renewable energy sources and sustainable fuel technologies in cities.

Through this event, it seeks to catalyze a dialogue between various actors gathered in FYCMA, in order to discuss strategies for a more sustainable urban management, giving special importance to smart mobility in the context of Green Cities.

This event will also mark the official launch of the RES4CITY Acceleration Program. Its primary objective is to foster the development of innovative solutions to challenges related to renewable energy and fuel technologies in urban environments.

The event will be in person with FREE ENTRY to those attending Greencities and S-Moving Fair and will feature Online Broadcasting.

The RES4CITY project, funded by Horizon Europe, aims to boost the development of sustainable renewable energy and fuel technologies in cities. This objective will be achieved through the promotion of sustainability and circularity, as well as through the implementation of an innovative educational program designed in collaboration with stakeholders. This program seeks to train highly skilled professionals, enabling the replicability of results in various educational systems. The project is led by Maynooth University in a consortium of 18 organizations from the European Union and Switzerland, including Finnova.
