- Kasitoko recibe el Sello de Excelencia de la Comisión Europea, tras su presentación en la convocatoria Instrumento Pyme del programa Horizonte 2020 del 3 de mayo de 2017.
- La startup vasca forma parte del programa StartUp Europe Accelerator de la Fundación Finnova, única aceleradora especializada en las oportunidades de internacionalización y financiación de la UE.
El primer marketplace para la compra centralizada de acciones en redes sociales con influencers, Kasitoko, acaba de ser reconocido por la Comisión Europea con el Sello de Excelencia en su última convocatoria Instrumento Pyme Fase I. El innovador desarrollo de Kasitoko permite a los anunciantes acceder al inventario de todas las redes desde un único lugar, pudiendo elegir al influencer adecuado para cada campaña independientemente de la red a la que pertenezcan.
El Sello de Excelencia de la Comisión Europea se otorga a las pymes que obtienen una alta puntuación en la evaluación de su propuesta presentada a la convocatoria Instrumento PYME. Este sello les permitirá optar a otras fuentes de financiación públicas de las que pymes del programa StartUp Europe Accelerator de Finnova han obtenido en anteriores convocatorias alrededor de 200.000 euros a fondo perdido, para realizar estudios de viabilidad y expansión internacional.
La Comisión otorga junto al Sello de Excelencia un certificado que puede ayudar a mejorar la visibilidad e incrementar la reputación de las pymes y constituye sin duda un atractivo para los inversores privados.
“El marketing de influencers es ahora escalable y mediante un proceso automatizado, desde una única plataforma, es posible distribuir contenido entre miles de creadores de contenido del mundo eliminando los procesos manuales y los intermediarios que impedían su crecimiento”, afirma Gorka Muñecas, CEO de Kasitoko. Para lograr este objetivo, la startup cuenta con un equipo con 15 años de experiencia en el mundo de la publicidad y el marketing online, repartido entre Bilbao y Nueva York.
Financiación para proyectos innovadores
StartUp Europe Accelerator de Finnova es la única aceleradora especializada en las oportunidades que ofrece la UE, “trabajando de manera conjunta en la elaboración de memorias para optar a financiación europea como la que ofrece el programa Horizonte 2020 y ayudando a los emprendedores a internacionalizar sus negocios a través de proyectos europeos,” asegura el director de StartUp Europe Accelerator, Juanma Revuelta.
A través del programa StartUp Europe Accelerator de Finnova, que ha recibido el apoyo del Ministerio de Empleo durante 3 años, más de 150 emprendedores han obtenido mentorización y asesoría para acceder a fondos UE y otros recursos para internacionalizar sus proyectos.
La Fundación Finnova es partner en la obtención y ejecución de 14.3 millones de euros de fondos europeos, provenientes del proyecto H2020 Nobel Grid (13.9 millones) y las herramientas Instrumento Pyme de la Comisión Europea y otras fuentes de financiación nacionales (400 mil euros).
Resultados de la última convocatoria de Instrumento Pyme
La UE invertirá 6,4 millones de euros en 129 empresas de 25 países que han sido seleccionadas para financiación en la última ronda del Instrumento PYME Horizonte 2020. La financiación se proporciona en la Fase 1 del instrumento, lo que significa que cada proyecto recibirá 50.000 euros para financiar un estudio de viabilidad de productos o servicios innovadores que puedan hacer una disrupción en el mercado. La mayoría de los proyectos financiados se centran en el ámbito de las TIC (30), seguido por el transporte (24) y los sistemas energéticos eficientes (15).
En esta convocatoria, España se encuentra en el segundo lugar en beneficiarios aceptados con financiación, con 19 empresas, muy cerca de Italia que encabeza el ranquin con 23 beneficiarios. Desde el lanzamiento del programa el 1 de enero de 2014, 2.331 PYME han sido seleccionadas en la Fase 1 del Instrumento PYME de la Comisión Europea.
La próxima fecha de corte para la Fase 1 es el 6 de septiembre de 2017.
El presupuesto total de Instrumento Pyme del programa Horizonte 2020 para el período 2016-2017 aumentó un 44% respecto al periodo anterior, y se sitúa así en los 740 millones de euros, de los que previsiblemente se beneficiarán algo más de 2000 pequeñas y medianas empresas altamente innovadoras. Algunas de las líneas de financiación más importantes son TICs y transporte inteligente, con 126 y 118.8 millones de euros para el periodo bianual, respectivamente.

The first market-place for the centralised purchase of shares in Social Networks with influencers, Kasitoko, has just been recognised by the European Commission with the Seal of Excellence in the last call of SME Instrument Phase I. The innovative development of Kasitoko allows advertisers to access a stock of all the social networks from a single place, it also offers the possibility to choose the appropriate influences for each campaign regardless the network they are working in.
The Seal of Excellence of the European Commission is given to SME’s that have a high score in the evaluation of the proposal presented in the call of SME Instrument. This seal will allow them to go for other means of public funding. The SME’s from the programme StartUp Europe Accelerator from Finnova have obtained in former calls a non-refundable amount of 200,000 euros in order to carry out studies of feasibility and international expansion.
The Commission gives along with the Seal of Excellence a certificate that can help to improve the visibility and to increase the impact of the SME’s, which really means an incentive for the private investors.
“The influencers marketing is currently scalable and it works as an automatic process, from a single platform it is possible to distribute the content among thousands of content creators in the world, removing all the manual process and the intermediaries that made very difficult the growth”, states Gorka Muñecas, CEO of Kasitoko. In order to achieve this goal, this startup has a small with more than 15 years of experience in the world of marketing and online marketing, both in Bilbao and New York.
Funding for innovative projects
Finnova’s StartUp Europe Accelerator is the only accelerator specialised in the opportunities that the UE offers “working jointly in the creation of memories to apply for the European funding, like Horizon 2020 programme, and helping entrepreneurs to make their business to reach international markets through European projects”, says the director of StartUp Europe Accelerator, Juanma Revuelta.
By means of Finnova’s StartUp Europe Accelerator programme, supported for three years by the Spanish Office of Employment, more than 150 entrepreneurs have obtained mentoring and advice to access EU funding and other means to make their projects international.
Finnova Foundation is partner in obtaining and implementing 14,3 millions of euros coming from European Funds, from the H2020 project Nobel Grid, 13,9 million, and the tool of SME Instrument of the European Commission and other resources of national funding (400 thousand euros).
Result from the last SME Instrument call
The EU will invest 6.4 million euros in 129 enterprises from 25 country that have been selected to be funded in the last round of SME Instrument Horizon 2020. The funding will be given in the phase-1 of the Instrument, which mean each project will receive 50,000 euro to fund a viability study of innovative products and services that could have a highly positive impact in the market. Most of the funded projects are focused on the ICT sphere, 30, followed by transport, 24, and efficient energetic systems, 15.
In this call, Spain is in the second place of accepted beneficiaries with funding, with 19 enterprises, very close to Italy, at the top of the rank, with 23 beneficiaries. Since the launching of the programme 1st January 2014, 2,331 SME have been selected in the phase-1 of SME Instrument of the European Commission.
Next cut-off date for the phase-1 is 6th September 2017
The total Budget for SME Instrument of the Horizon 2020 programme for the period 2016-2017 increased a 44% compared to the previous one. Currently it offers 740 million euros, which more than 2,000 medium and small enterprises with highly-innovative ideas will probably benefit from. Some of the most important funding lines are ICT and Smart Transport, with 126 and 118,8 million euros for the biannual period respectively.
