A team from the Finnova Foundation formed by Patricia Tejada, EU Projects Manager, and Amaia Cardaño, from the Communication Department, have presented today, Tuesday 30th May in Brussels different types of European funds and projects to a group of women entrepreneurs from the European Business and Innovation Centre of Burgos (CEEI-Burgos).
During the day, an informative talk was given on possible European funding tools. RES4CITY was presented as an outstanding example of a Horizon Europe project, approved by the European Commission.
In this meeting, the entrepreneurs of CEEI-Burgos had the opportunity to learn in detail about the RES4CITY project and explore the different European funding options available for their own initiatives. Finnova, through its team specialized in European funds, provided valuable information and personalized advice, sharing its extensive experience in obtaining funding for innovative projects. RES4CITY was presented with the aim of creating synergies between the project and the Burgos businesswoman.
In the afternoon, the team of the European funds department, composed by Patricia Tejada and Laura Velasco, went to the Thon Hotel to continue with the networking meetings. In this context, strategic meetings have been held with companies such as Greendur or the Belgian public health institute, with the aim of exploring possible collaborations and joint funding opportunities.
Finnova, through these networking sessions, has reinforced its commitment to the promotion of innovative projects and the promotion of entrepreneurship, providing key tools and knowledge to access European Funds and achieve success in their implementation.

It is a Horizon Europe funded project that aims to enhance the development of sustainable renewable energy and fuel technologies in cities by promoting sustainability and circularity, and by deploying an innovative educational programme, co-designed with stakeholders, to develop highly qualified human capital, to enable results with high replicability across different educational systems.
About the European Business and Innovation Centre Burgos
The European Business and Innovation Centre of Burgos (CEEI-Burgos) is a reception and assistance centre that supports and promotes business projects arising from the entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Burgos.
