Seville, 31.05.2023. The Finnova Foundation is organising a FOIL-CILIFO event in the framework of the European Green Week 2023, as one of the beneficiary entities of the CILIFO project. Under the title “FOIL-CILIFO: Good practices and final wrap-up”, this event will be a platform to highlight good practices in the fight against forest fires and climate change, in line with the EU Green Deal.
The event will take place on Monday 05 June 2023, from 13:00 to 14:00 (Brussels time), participants will have the opportunity to learn about the CILIFO Project as an outstanding example of good practice in fighting forest fires and climate change. Relevant topics such as accelerated technologies, EEPA awards, sources of funding, open innovation for green transition, among others, will be addressed.
The main objective of this event is to highlight the importance of fighting forest fires and climate change, highlighting its crucial role in the green transition and in line with the European Year of Capacities. FOIL-CILIFO seeks to promote an environmentally friendly ecological transition, and this event will be an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences to foster more effective and sustainable management of forest fires.
