La Comisión Europea ha anunciado la selección de 4 temas para la cuarta convocatoria de propuestas del UIA que se lanzará en octubre de 2018
Los cuatro temas seleccionados son:
- Transición digital
- Pobreza urbana
- Uso sostenible de la tierra
- Seguridad urbana
La Comisión Europea están trabajando actualmente para desarrollar las descripciones completas de cada uno de los temas seleccionados. Estas descripciones completas estarán disponibles en abril de 2018.
La 4ª Convocatoria de Propuestas de la UIA se lanzará oficialmente en octubre de 2018 durante un evento dedicado en el marco de la Semana Europea de las Regiones y Ciudades en Bruselas. La fecha del evento se comunicará antes del verano. Durante el acto, los representantes de la Comisión Europea y las autoridades urbanas que participan en las asociaciones correspondientes de la Agenda Urbana para la UE proporcionarán a los participantes información más detallada sobre los cuatro temas seleccionados.
Al igual que en las convocatorias anteriores, tras el lanzamiento oficial de la 4ª Convocatoria, la Secretaría Permanente iniciará las actividades de información y apoyo a los beneficiarios (seminarios para solicitantes, seminarios en línea, sesiones de preguntas y respuestas en línea, sesiones de cirugía en línea, etc.).

The European Commission has announced the selection of 4 topics for the 4th UIA Call for Proposals to be launched in October 2018
The four topics selected are:
- Digital transition
- Urban poverty
- Sustainable use of land
- Urban security
Different Directorates General at the European Commission are now working to develop the full descriptions for each of the selected topic. These full descriptions will be available by April 2018.
The 4th UIA Call for Proposals will be officially launched in October 2018 during a dedicated event in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. The date of the event will be communicated before the summer. During the event representatives of the European Commission as well as urban authorities involved in the corresponding partnerships of the Urban Agenda for the EU will provide participants with more detailed information on the 4 selected topics.
As for the previous Calls for Proposals, following the official launch of the 4th Call, the Permanent Secretariat will start the information and support activities to beneficiaries (applicant seminars, webinars, online Q&A sessions, online surgery sessions, etc).
