Global Blockchain Challenge, a digital challenge to find creative solutions.

It will take place on November 11th within the framework of the Global Blockchain Congress.

The Global Blockchain Challenge will bring together developers, entrepreneurs and regulators in a challenge where they will be proposed an open innovation activity to apply technology based on blockchain to different challenges related to the sustainable development objectives. The challenge will last for 10 hours and it will take place on November 11th within the framework of the Global Blockchain Congress at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) on November 11th, 12th and 13th.

Around a total of 17 teams will participate. Each team will be made up by three people: one from the business world, one related to entrepreneurship and one from the academic world. In this way, the teams will be multidisciplinary in order to promote creative solutions and several points of view.

The winners of the challenge will be recognized at the Startup Europe-World Blockchain Awards, at the ceremony to be held that same evening. The work developed by each team will be evaluated by a jury composed of Members of the European Parliament, representative of international institutions and experts in the world of industry.

The final prize will consist of a business accelerator tickets valued a at 10,000 euros that will allow the winners to travel to Brussels, learn how the European Parliament works, as well as how to integrate into the community legal framework and participate in the Horizonte 2020 project calls.

The challenge remains open to participants in the Global Blockchain Congress. Tickets can be booked through the event’s website.
